True Detective Mysteries – Case 2 Horror in a Hospital Ward

True Detective Mysteries brings the darker side of the Golden Age of Radio to life with dramatizations inspired by cases and stories featured in True Detective Mystery Magazine. Heard in various incarnations from the 1930s through the 1950s, the series turned real-world crime into tightly produced radio drama, often approaching the story from the perspective of the criminals, investigators, victims, and witnesses caught inside the case.

Before television made true crime a nightly fixture, programs like True Detective Mysteries brought listeners face-to-face with murder, deception, investigation, and the consequences of crime — all through the imagination of radio.

B4TV presents True Detective Mysteries as part of our ongoing celebration of classic broadcasting and the Golden Age of Radio. Step back to a time when the lights went down, the radio came on, and a mystery could unfold entirely inside your mind.
