Candy Matson, YUkon 2-8209 | The Eric Spaulding Concert | B4TV Radio Detective Theater

💋🌉 A concert hall, a frustrated conductor, and a performance that refuses to go smoothly — sounds like a quiet cultural evening until Candy Matson gets the call.

In The Eric Spaulding Concert, Candy is hired to find out who — or what — is sabotaging an orchestra concert before the music falls apart completely. It is a sharp little mystery with that classic Candy Matson mix of San Francisco polish, detective wit, and trouble hiding under good manners. The episode is listed by Great Detectives and Apple Podcasts/Great Detectives with an original airdate of February 7, 1950.

Candy Matson, YUkon 2-8209 stars Natalie Parks as Candy Matson, the stylish San Francisco private investigator who answers the phone and steps straight into danger. Created by Monty Masters, the series also features Henry Leff as Lt. Ray Mallard and Jack Thomas as Rembrandt Watson, Candy’s loyal friend and scene-stealing companion.
