Candy Matson, YUkon 2-8209 | Jack Frost | B4TV Radio Detective Theater

💋🌉 Christmas in San Francisco should mean department-store sparkle, holiday crowds, and children waiting to see Santa’s helper. Naturally, Candy Matson finds a body hiding under the tinsel.

In Jack Frost, Candy is pulled into a holiday mystery after a department-store “Jack Frost” disappears, leaving her friend Myra in a panic and Rembrandt Watson drafted into seasonal service. What begins as a missing holiday performer turns into a murder case with jealousy, danger, and Candy’s usual sharp tongue cutting through the wrapping paper. Multiple sources describe this as one of Candy Matson’s Christmas-themed episodes, though listed air dates vary, so B4TV is presenting it without a hard public date.

Candy Matson, YUkon 2-8209 stars Natalie Parks as San Francisco private investigator Candy Matson, with Henry Leff as Lt. Ray Mallard and Jack Thomas as Rembrandt Watson. Created by Monty Masters, the series is remembered for its Bay Area flavor, quick dialogue, and one of the strongest female detective leads in old time radio.
