Dick Tracy
Crime does not stand still — and neither does Dick Tracy.
Based on the famous newspaper comic strip created by Chester Gould, Dick Tracy became one of the great crime-fighting names of old time radio. The series brought the square-jawed detective, his loyal allies, dangerous villains, wild schemes, and cliffhanger storytelling from the comics page into living rooms across America.
This is classic radio crime theater with speed, danger, gadgets, traps, disguises, narrow escapes, and just enough pulp weirdness to keep things fun. Dick Tracy was not a quiet drawing-room detective solving murders over tea. He was a hard-charging lawman in a world of criminal masterminds, strange clues, hidden motives, and urgent action.
The adventures often feature familiar supporting characters such as Pat Patton, Junior Tracy, and Tess Trueheart, helping bring the world of Tracy’s crime-fighting universe to life.
If you enjoy vintage detective stories, police adventure, comic-strip heroes, classic crime serials, old radio cliffhangers, and Golden Age audio drama, Dick Tracy delivers exactly the kind of punchy, no-nonsense radio action that made the character a legend.
